Who doesn’t love movie night?
Who doesn’t LOVE popcorn? And, of course, who doesn’t love candy? Add these three things together, throw in a bunch of kids (and adults), and you’ve got yourself one awesome movie night. My little family of four is super lucky to be surrounded by aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins galore. My kids have four cousins, all around the same age, all living within a 2- mile radius. They go to school together, play together, fight together, eat together, and love each other more than anything in this world. So, naturally, when we decided to throw the most epic movie night ever, everybody was invited.
We set up a DIY popcorn bar using my favorite Orville’s Redenbacher’s Movie Theatre Butter Popcorn. It pops up in just minutes, which is perfect when you have a house full of hungry kids running around!
Oh, and the popcorn? So light and fluffy. It’s really the perfect snack!
Since it was indeed movie night, everybody HAD to have a movie ticket. Obviously. I thought it would be cute to have the kids make their own movie tickets and hand them out to the guests as they “entered the theatre” aka, the backyard. CUTE.
It’s as simple as that! Set up a little popcorn bar, everyone makes their own snack, then pile onto a cozy blanket with some pillows and popcorn and your backyard movie night is set! No complaints here!
