    Spring BBQ Hot Dog Bar

    Hebrew National Hot Dogs-7It finally feels like spring, and I’m itching for outdoor entertaining! Can’t you just picture it? It’s 5:00pm on a Saturday afternoon, the sun is still out. There’s a cool breeze, kids are running around the backyard, barefoot and happy. The grill is fired up, ready to go. The vibe is cool, casual, and laid back. When I think of spring and summer entertaining, I immediately think BBQ.

    Hebrew National Hot Dogs-5My favorite thing to do for guests is to set up a DIY bar. In this case it’s a hot dog bar! How easy and fun is that? Think about any and all toppings that somebody might want for their hot dog, place everything out in small bowls, and let people build their own creations!

    Since the hot dog is the star of the show, I of course only want the best.

My family LOVES them; we just can’t get enough! They might cost a little more than some other brands, but they’re worth it. When it comes to my family, I only serve the best quality food choices. These dogs never disappoint!

    Hebrew National Hot Dogs-6If you’re like me, I’m a straight mustard (or ketchup) kind of girl! But for those of you like to get a little crazy, that’s where the hot dog bar is your friend.

    I’ve got dogs with everything from the classic mustard, relish, and onion dog, to the dog with grilled peppers and jalapeño, or even crushed potato chips! (Don’t knock it til you’ve tried it)!

    So dust off that patio furniture, call up your friends and family, and get ready to entertain and eat some really good, simple food. Isn’t simple always best?

    Ingredients

    Scale
    • 1 package of Hebrew National All-Beef Franks (1 package has 7 franks)
    • 7 hot dog buns

    Toppings

    • Mustard
    • Ketchup
    • Diced white onion
    • Relish
    • Grilled sliced bell peppers
    • Sliced jalepeño peppers
    • Crushed potato chips

    Instructions

    1. 1) Grill hot dogs for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until nicely browned. Serve in a bun with desired toppings!

    Notes

    *Feel free to use any toppings you like! These are just a few to get you started!
