How is possible that we’re officially half way through 2017? Time is absolutely flying by and apparently, there’s nothing I can do to slow it down ? Hopefully this long holiday weekend is filled with lots of relaxation and delicious food! I can definitely help you in the food department! Weekly Meal Plan #15 is ready for you!
SUNDAY – Ground Turkey & Veggie Brown Rice Bowls // It might not be the prettiest bowl of food in the entire world, but let me tell you… This is my favorite go-to meal on the blog. Not one of my favorite go-to meals, it’s THE favorite. Throw in any veggies you like and make it your own creation. There’s something about this dish that’s so comforting, yet still healthy! Please make this.
MONDAY – /Lump Crab Cakes w/ Lemon Mayo Sauce // Many of you know I’m from Maryland. The king of crabs. ? Therefore I’m veeeeeeery picky about my crab and especially my crab cakes. I like my cakes 90% crab and 10% other stuff, just enough to hold it all together. The crab should be the star, and in this recipe it is! Also, they’re baked, not fried so it’s easy to clean up and better for you!
WEDNESDAY – Slow Cooker Salsa Verde Chicken // After a fun-filled holiday weekend it’s time to get back to the grind. That means dinner needs to be easy peasy. Throw some chicken, salsa verde and a few spices into the slow cooker and walk away all day!
THURSDAY – Fettuccine Turkey Bolognese // It might be summer, but I’ll never turn down a big bowl of pasta bolognese. Lighten it up by serving over zucchini noodles instead!
SWEET TREAT – Red, White & Blue Popsicles // If you’re looking for a healthy sweet treat for the holiday, these pops are it! Made with coconut milk, fresh fruit and a touch of honey, these pops will be a huge hit!
