Description

With less than 5 minutes of hands-on time, this Light and Fluffy Garlic Turmeric Rice will become a weekly staple in your kitchen. It’s packed with flavor and works as a great base or side with almost any meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup Jasmine rice (or Basmati)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • pinch of pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Add all of your ingredients to a medium pot and stir to combine. Bring mixture to a boil. Once boiling, turn heat to low, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. 
  2. Turn off the heat and let sit covered for at least 10 minutes or up to 30 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve.
