Description

With just a handful of simple ingredients and a sheet pan, you’ll have a wholesome and satisfying Sheet Pan Sausage and Peppers for a busy weeknight or for any time you need something quick in just 30 minutes!


Ingredients

  • 1 small yellow onion, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 orange bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small fennel bulb, sliced
  • 23 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 (12 oz) package Italian sausage (or chicken sausage)
  • Fresh basil for garnish
  • Hot dog buns (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. 
  2. Add the onion, bell peppers, and fennel to a sheet pan.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano.
  4. Toss until the veggies are well coated. 
  5. Cut the sausages in half and add them to the sheet pan. 
  6. Roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes until veggies are tender and cooked through. 
  7. Serve alone or in a hot dog bun with your favorite condiments.
