Description

Sautéed peppers and onions are the ultimate quick side dish. In just one pan and about 10 minutes, you can create a colorful mix of tender bell peppers and sweet onions, lightly seasoned for maximum flavor. Serve them with tacos, on sandwiches, hot dogs, tossed with pasta, or alongside chicken, fish or steak.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 1 yellow onion
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat a large skillet over medium/high heat. Add the olive oil, bell peppers, onion, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  2. Sauté for 7-10 minutes or until the peppers are your desired consistency. Serve as a side, in a taco, on a sandwich or with pasta!
