Description

Layers of fudgy boxed brownies, break-and-bake cookies, silky chocolate pudding, and cloud light homemade whipped cream make this cookie brownie trifle an unforgettable crowd-pleasing dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

FOR THE WHIPPED CREAM

  • 1 pint heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Using the directions on the box or using your favorite homemade recipe, make the brownies and cookies. Let cool completely. (Can do this step the day before)
  2. Make the whipped cream. Using a stand mixer or a large bowl with a hand mixer, add the heavy whipping cream and whisk for a few minutes on medium speed until it starts to thicken. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla and whisk until stiff peaks form.
  3. In the trifle dish begin to layer ingredients. Start with 1/4 of the brownies, breaking them up with your hands. Next, a layer of pudding, a layer of whipped cream, and a layer of crumbled cookies. Repeat layers until the trifle dish is almost full and top it off with extra crumbled brownies and cookies.
  4. Cover and put in the fridge overnight and serve chilled.
