Ingredients
Scale
For the sliders:
- 12 slider buns (I love the St. Pierre brand)
- 3 cups shredded chicken
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
For the Garlic Butter:
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Use a large knife to slice the rolls in half, lengthwise, so you have a sheet of rolls. Place the bottom side of the rolls in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. You can also use a sheet pan.
- In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken, marinara and oregano. Spoon the chicken mixture over the bottom half of the rolls. Sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan cheese then add the top layer of the rolls.
- Mix the melted butter with the garlic powder. Lightly brush the butter mixture on top of the rolls. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake covered for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted. Remove foil and bake for 3 to 5 minutes longer until the tops are lightly browned. Cut into individual sliders and serve immediately.
