For the Hummus:
- 1 can chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
- ½ cup tahini
- Juice of ½ a lemon
- 1 small garlic clove (or half a large clove)
- 1 ¼ teaspoons salt
- ½ cup ice water
Garnish (Optional):
- Olive oil
- Paprika
- Fresh parsley
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients to a high powder blender and blend until very smooth (about 1 minute). Adjust salt or lemon to taste. Garnish with a drizzle of olive oil, a sprinkle of paprika and some fresh parsley if desired. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
