Easy 4-Ingredient Lime Crema
A Greek yogurt base, fresh lime, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper are all it takes to create this Easy 4-Ingredient Lime Crema!
Pretty much any Mexican food is going to taste amazing with a bit of cream and a hint of lime. My Turkey Taco Skillet, Sheet Pan Shrimp Fajitas, or Mexican Lime Grilled Chicken would all be perfect with a drizzle of this Easy 4-Ingredient Lime Crema. Prepare it as part of your weekly meal planning or whip it up in two minutes before dinner. It’s the easiest way to make a weeknight dinner extra tasty!
Ingredients in Easy Lime Crema
It’s true, there are only four ingredients and you might already have them in your kitchen.
- Limes – This recipe uses both the zest and the juice of one juicy lime. Zest a lime by using the finest blades on a grater to remove the bright and colorful green part of the peel. Stop grating when you see white!
- Greek yogurt – You’ll need a half cup, which is roughly the amount of Greek yogurt in a single-serving size cup from the grocery store. Make sure to grab plain flavor!
- Salt and pepper – This Easy Lime Crema uses just a tiny bit of salt and pepper. Start small, then taste and adjust to your preference!
This Easy Lime Crema can be prepared ahead of time and stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator. I love the brightness a hint of citrus adds to a dish, and this sauce is the perfect way to do that!
