Good to know!

Thank you!!
This is a must-try recipe.
I want to try loss 10 kgs
Hi,
I have been using banana, low fat yoghurt, spinach and oats. Is this ok? Twice a day and one big meal at night
If that works for you, then great!
Hello, Aren’t milk and lemon inherently opposing flavors? I come from Indian culture and we use Lemon in Milk to make cottage cheese. These opposing flavors can cause damage to the body in the long term.
Hi Ria! There is no milk used in this recipe, only almond milk and have had no issues
Just wondering How much is a serving? One cup?
Can I use cows milk
Yes!
Can I use Cortland instead of Granny Smith for the apple?
Yes!
I swapped the splash of lemon with a pinch of cinnamon. It was so good I put it in a wine glass, lit a candle and listened to soft jazz as I drank it. 🙂
This has such a nice balance of flavors. Even though I don’t like cucumber, I loved it in this! Thanks so much for the recipe! I used frozen spinach in my Vitamix instead of the ice cubes and just needed a bit more almond milk to make up for the missing fluid. I’d also love to try adding some ginger to this sometime. I’ll definitely be making this again!
I used bottled water instead of milk and I added ginger, honey and cinnamon. (Just a dash of each) I also substituted the banana and added dates. I had some collagen that I had ordered from Vitauthority I added that as well. So much energy it was ahhmazing. Thank you for your tips. ☺️
P.S
Loved your story I’m right here in Orlando and I work at WDW. Where all your dreams come true. 😁
Can you use warm water or another substitute instead of ice?
OMG!! this is amazing 1000/10 recommend this!
What can I substitute almond milk with,?
Any milk will work!
I have tried MULTIPLE different smoothie recipes and this one is by far my favourite one. No flavour is over powering of the and is honestly so fresh! Thank you for this!
I’m so glad you love it!
What can I substitute the banana for? I’m allergic.
You could try dates!
I really hate bananas, is there anything else I can put instead?
Dates!
Nice one, it’s a keeper. Added, chopped Ginger, prunes and used Coconut Almond Milk…
I can’t find the recipe anywhere???
What do you mean?
how many ounces is a serving of this?
Tried this today and it was the best green smoothie I’ve ever had. Thank you for sharing the recipe! I left out the flax, but may add it next time along with a scoop of protein powder and a splash of vanilla extract to counter the chalkiness of the protein powder.
YES!!!!
How many calories are in one serving?
I’m not sure. You could enter the ingredients into an online calculator and find out!
I have a bunch of overripe bananas. can i use those?
Yes! Even better!
I am making this tomorrow morning! Just picked up some more cucumbers and granny smith apples. I’ve never used Almond milk before, so this is definitely a first 🙂 Can’t wait. I also featured this in this week’s menu plan! Have a delicious week!
I hope you love it! You can also use any milk you like, but I hope you like the almond milk too! Thank you for sharing in your menu plan!!
I don’t like cucumbers, can I substitute something else?
Sure! You could use Celery, zucchini, or jicima, but you really don’t taste the cucumber 🙂
It’s band wagon
one in every crowd
Just tried it! I am so tired of feeling terrible and sure do hope this helps. How often are you supposed to drink this??
There’s no rule as to how often to drink this. But I imagine if you drink this a few times a week it will certainly help you feel a bit better! I make this and/or another green smoothie 3-4 times a week. It’s an easy way to get in some greens!
