Pomegranate Spritzer
It’s the freakin weekend.
Do you hate me because I just said, “it’s the freakin weekend”? I swear, I’m not that person. Because in reality, the weekend to me is no different that any other day. Kids are still gonna get up at the crack of dawn no matter how many of these I decide to drink. So I just need to decide how worth it it is.
It’s pretty worth it.
And it’s pretty. So there ya go. Plus, you guys…It’s only one week until Christmas, and less than two until New Years. WHAT IS HAPPENING???
Time is flying, no, RACING by. Let’s just slow things down for a minute and sip on this fun, festive, and oh-so-bubbly cocktail.
Is it not the perfect drink to whip up and impress your guests? It is, isn’t it. And for all you non bartenders, like myself, this couldn’t be easier to make.
Pomegranate Spritzer
Description
A super simple yet delicious spritzer made with pomegranate and lime.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 sprigs rosemary
- 1 cup pomegranate juice
- 3/4 cup vodka
- 1/2 cup club soda
- 1/4 cup lime juice (about 2 limes)
- Ice
Instructions
- Begin by making the rosemary simple syrup. In a small pot, add the water, sugar, and rosemary. Bring mixture just to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves, just a minute or so. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
- In a pitcher add the pomegranate juice, vodka, club soda, lime juice, and cooled simple syrup, and stir to combine. If serving immediately, pour in a glass over ice. Or, store in fridge until ready to serve.
Cheers my friends!
