Who needs a chocolate detox?
Even if you don’t really celebrate Valentine’s Day, there just seems to be chocolate all around everywhere all the time. Which, if I’m being totally honest, I don’t mind one single bit. It does however feed my chocolate addiction to max! I’m embarrassed to tell you how many bags of chocolate chips I crushed last week. Yes, BAGS! Ugh, I can’t.
OMG, can I tell you about the drama of making this smoothie? I started by putting the oats and the milk in my trusty Vitamix (which I love, usually). For whatever reason I decided to use a paper towel to cover the blender, rather than the actual blender top. BAD CHOICE. Also, for whatever reason the blender happened to be on the highest setting, which may as well been EXPLODE MODE.
It. Went. Everywhere.
TWICE!
Don’t ask.
I’m over the green smoothie craze for today, and I’ve quickly hopped on the blueberry bandwagon. Did you know that blueberries provide amazing health benefits?! Among many others, they have the highest amount of antioxidants of all fresh fruit! Get in ma belly!
If you’re looking for a quick and easy breakfast, this smoothie will keep you full for hours!
Hey, we eat with our eyes first. So why not make it pretty?
