    Cranberry Apple Persimmon Sangria

Cranberry Apple Persimmon SangriaDoes this scream holidays or what?!? I know you need a good holiday cocktail and there’s nothing easier, (or prettier!) than a pitcher of fruity sangria!

Cranberry Apple Persimmon SangriaI’ve taken some of my favorite winter fruits and thrown them into this festive cocktail to make for the most perfect holiday drink! I’ve told you about my obsession with persimmons, haven’t I? I don’t think I had ever tried a persimmon until this year.

Cranberry Apple Persimmon SangriaI was seriously missing out! And I just discovered cinnamon persimmons which are kind of life changing. They taste like a mix between a mango and an apple. They’re freaking delicious, and I love them in this drink.

Cranberry Apple Persimmon SangriaThis is also a great option to make for a large crowd. It’s as simple as throwing some fruit in a glass pitcher, pouring over some wine and done.

Cranberry Apple Persimmon SangriaTop it off with some flavored bubbly water and you’ve got yourself the holidays in a glass.

Cranberry Apple Persimmon SangriaSo grab your friends, a killer cheese board, and cheers to a fabulous holiday season!

    Ingredients

    Scale
    • 1 large apple (thinly sliced)
    • 1 lime (thinly sliced)
    • 1 persimmon (cubed)
    • 1 cup fresh cranberries
    • 3 cinnamon sticks
    • 1 bottle red wine
    • 1/2 cup Grand Marnier
    • 12 ounces lime flavored sparkling water

    Instructions

    1. Add the apple, lime, persimmon, cranberries and cinnamon sticks to the bottom of a glass pitcher. Pour in the wine, Grand Marnier and sparkling water. Stir to combine. Place in the fridge for several hours or until ready to serve. You can serve this right away over some ice, but the flavors are best after they sit for a while.

A wine from Spain is a good option or a Merlot!
