Kale & Peach Smoothie
Heeeeeey Monday.
If I drink this smoothie, does that erase the giant burger, basket of fries, multiple milkshakes, and entire bag of chocolate chips that I ate this weekend?
No?
Well I’m gonna drink it anyway.
My three year old daughter had her tonsils out last week. Holy moly, that surgery is no joke! I’m just glad we got it over with! And, she’s doing great.
However, there were some very strict rules regarding her recovery.
Only soft foods. Nothing hard, crunchy, crispy. Nothing hot. Nothing spicy. Nothing too citrusy.
This left me with a menu of yogurt, ice cream, popsicles, chicken, pasta, mac and cheese, jello, and smoothies.
FOR TWO WEEKS!
One would think that a kid would be in heaven only eating ice cream and mac and cheese for weeks on end. But trust me, it gets old. FAST.
I was dying to find a way to get some real solid nutrition in her healing little body.
And this smoothie was the ticket.
It’s great for a quick breakfast, or an afternoon pick me up.
But no, it won’t erase those fries.
Sorry.

I just made this recipe. It was easy and delicious. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed!
Simple but tasty combo. I only had fresh peaches and it worked well, perhaps just a little less thick/milkshakey. I used frozen kale & a little less than a cup as I really wanted to taste the peach flavor. Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it, Toni!
My (very picky) toddler and I loved this. Sweet and smooth and healthy! Thank you!
Love hearing this!! Such a win!
OMG!! SO GOOD!
I had so many ripe peaches I needed to use, so I tried this smoothie ( I subbed almond milk for unsweetened coconut milk, and used the siggis vanilla Greek yogurt) and it tasted phenomenal!! Had it for my lunch with some avocado toast and it was a perfect pick me up! Felt energized and refreshed, plus (it was that time of the month) so it made me feel so much better!
Love hearing this Olivia! Sounds like it’s just what you needed!
These look so pretty! I haven’t done the kale peach thing yet will have to give it a try!
