Hi October. Before I dive head first into all the pumpkin things, Halloween candy, and desserts, I made you this festive orange smoothie to remind you that it can still be fun to eat/drink healthy.
Introducing the star of the show in this smoothie. The orange. Totally underrated, don’t you think? This sweet guy is packed full of vitamin C – exactly what the doctor ordered for this crazy time of year with cold and flu season. Unfortunately our household was definitely hit this year with some other nastiness that I won’t get into, so you better believe I’ll whipping this up in the mornings.
It’s thick and creamy and perfect for getting into the Halloween spirit. Basically, it’s gonna cancel out all the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups I’m gonna devour.
Sweet and simple orange smoothie is packed with vitamin C and great for a quick breakfast or snack.
- 2 large oranges (peeled)
- ½ cup coconut milk
- 4 dates (pitted)
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 handful of ice
- Add all the ingredients into a blender and blend for 30-60 seconds until very smooth. Pour into a tall glass and serve!
