If you’re anything like me, a sandwich is one of your favorite foods. But it can’t just be any old sandwich, it’s gotta be AWESOME. In my opinion, a sandwich that doesn’t have amazing bread, quality meat and/or the proper toppings is just a waste of time. Sooo, with back-to-school here, I thought why do the kids get to have all the fun? This is a celebration for parents too! And I’m celebrating with the most epic Turkey, Cheese & Avocado w/ Greens Sandwich.
You wanna know the secret to a really good sandwich? Really good quality ingredients. I mean, that’s basically the secret to all great recipes, but especially when it comes to this it’s important that each layer is the best.
You all know my love for Applegate products. A few weeks ago I showed my girls and I eating the Organic Oven Roasted Turkey Breast as a snack and the entire package was gone in one sitting! It really is that good.
Applegate uses simple, clean ingredients with nothing artificial and truly you can taste the difference. In addition to this, their Organic line is no longer using carrageenan as an ingredient in their deli meats, which is super exciting! For this sandwich I started with crusty ciabatta spread with pesto, layers of Applegate Organic Oven Roasted Turkey Breast, Pepper Jack Cheese, thinly sliced green apple (trust me), creamy avocado and micro greens. ????
The combination of textures and flavors are perfect. Crunchy, creamy, spicy, sour and fresh. Sounds like the perfect sandwich to me!

A mouth watering Turkey, Cheese & Avocado w/ Greens Sandwich. Packed with micro greens, pesto, pepper jack cheese, and green apples.
- ciabatta bread
- 2 tablespoons pesto
- 2 slices Applegate Pepper Jack Cheese
- sliced green apple
- 4 slices Applegate Organics Oven Roasted Turkey
- ¼ avocado, sliced
- ¼ cup micro greens
- Spread the pesto on the inside of both pieces of the bread. Add the cheese, apple slices, turkey, avocado and micro greens and top with the bread. Dig in!
