If you haven’t tried making homemade salad dressing, what are you waiting for? I know it can seen intimidating, but trust me, it’s really really simple and WAY more delicious than any store bought dressing.
This dressing is a little tangy, a little sweet and will turn any ordinary salad to extraordinary.
If you can whisk together 6 ingredients, then you can make this dressing.
Come on, let’s up your salad game.
5 Minute Lemon Vinaigrette
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Total Time: 5 minutes
- Yield: 4 1x
Description
This simple Lemon Vinaigrette is great over any salad or drizzled over roasted veggies!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup avocado oil (or olive oil)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- pinch of pepper
- 2 teaspoon maple syrup
Instructions
- Whisk together all the ingredients until well combined. Serve immediately or store in the fridge for 5-7 days. Please note that oil will harden in the fridge, so before using again, let it sit at room temperature for 20-30 minutes or run the jar under warm water until it liquifies again.
This is a very refreshing dressing and easy to throw together. It goes especially well when adding salmon to a green salad, I always make a double batch to keep on hand.
Making a double batch is so smart!
This lemon vinaigrette dressing is my new favorite! It’s so light & fresh tasting but adds so much flavor to a salad. It’s perfect for summer!!
So glad you love it, Linda! Thanks for the review!
