15 Date-Night-In Recipes for New Years Eve

New Years Eve holds a special place in my heart, for several reasons. One, it’s my wedding anniversary! Yep, Zach and I tied the knot 8 years ago on New Years Eve! It’s kind of a genius idea if you ask me. Gives people a reason to get dressed up and go out on New Years Eve with lots of free food and booze. I mean, you can’t go wrong. It certainly was a night to remember.

We’re also just coming off celebrating my daughters 5th birthday, we’re knee deep into Hannukah and still recovering from celebrating ALL the holidays with family and friends. There’s nothing more special than this time of year, in my opinion. But, when it comes to making plans for New Years Eve, I’m just beat. We love staying in, cooking with friends and having a epic game night. I’m lucky if I even make it to midnight.
